- I purchased this bike for one of my granddaughters for Christmas. She is hooked on Monster High, and her eyes were absolutely as big as saucers when she opened her bike! She wanted her Dad to put it together right away…forget everything else! But what I really loved was that I could have this item delivered right to my doorstep, and free shipping was offered. How could you not love it! I am now going to find a bike for my other granddaughter, as she has a birthday coming up next month. The only thing I didn’t care for was the speckled gray paint along the frame of the bike. It made it look like the bike had mud splattered on the bike, and it looked dirty. Maybe if it was a brighter color, or different design…other than that, this was an excellent buy and I am very happy with it!
- The bike was purchased by a relative for our daughter who is soon to be 7 years old. The only assembly directions that came with the bike were in the owners manual and the directions were for all of their bike models so it was very confusing and absolutely no help. However, the plastic pieces over the bolts were nice to help assemble bike with less need for tools. It took about 30 minutes to assemble the bike but it would have been faster if I hadn’t wasted time trying to find directions and looking for the correct tools. A simple single sheet of paper with picture directions would have been wonderful and greatly missed. Took away one star in rating for lack of directions and also because the plastic bike chain cover was cracked and damaged but not overly so. We decided to not return the bike since our daughter didn’t even notice the damage. Appears to be a great bike for a small child but I would recommend buying one already assembled if possible and you will need basic tools since they are not supplied.
- The Bike itself is great, the problem is that the bike was scratched on the handle bars and the chain guard was cracked. I kept the bike despite the scratches and cracks because we did not want to wait for shipping the bike is not carried in our area.
