- Just bought bike number 2 for our winter home in Florida. Especially like how easy it is to stepthru due to the low cross bar. Very cute and smooth gear change.
- My husband put this together and said there were no problems. They should include the metric Allen wrench since it is a vital tool in the handle bars. Fortunately he dug one out and was able to tighten the handlebars properly. Rides smooth. Brakes are good and gears shift smoothly. It’s a great bike at a fair price.
- Bought this for my wife as a Christmas gift and New Year’s resolution gift. Arrived very quickly. We assembled it without any major difficulty. I’ve been riding bikes pretty actively for 30+ years, so assembly for me was no big deal. Did have a issue with the front fender, as the bracket was manufactured so poorly, that installed the fender would rub against the tire. I am working with Schwinn to get a new bracket. My wife enjoys riding it, and I’m sure it will give her many years of service.
- My wife really loves her new bike and for the price point it’s worth it. I had to assemble it which required another $50 to have a bike shop tune it up properly as the brake adjustments weren’t as simple as I had hoped. So if you’re not accustomed to assembling bikes with hand brakes try to get on pre-assembles or plan on another $50 of help.
- Christmas morning with it under the tree woke up to find a flat tire. Put air in it and went flat again. Seems the tube has a puncture…wish I could have seen Santa assemble it. Schwinn says it has a lifetime warranty but I have no information on how to use it or what is covered. The Walmart online purchasing process left me without a receipt.
- Tires were out of alignment and rear tire valve was defective, bike very heavy, brakes rubbed on tires, could not be adjusted to clear (due to tire alignment)
