- After 15 yrs, my old toaster finally died and had to be buried. Tried a cheaper brand and immediately brought it back for a refund. Checked online and found this Hamilton Beach Toaster for a decent price. I love that it has settings and slots for bagels. I also like that it has a setting for frozen bagels since I often forget to take a package out of the freezer for next day breakfast. I also like that I can slide it out of the way, when I’m done, and not have to worry about it being hot to touch. Nice crumb tray, that’s easy to slide out to clean, helps keep my counter and cabinet clear of crumbs. Great toaster for the price!
- After one month of use, the left lever was not staying down and the right lever would stay down but would not pop back up. I have had many burnt toasts. The only way I get to use this toaster is by standing by it, holding down the left lever and averaging the time so I can manually pop the right lever so my toast wont burn. Also there were little sparks on the inside of the toaster when I try to manually pop the levers. I am very disappointed.
