• I have two heavy shredders and I struggle with finding a vacuum that can handle the volume of hair. After many <$100 models that either didn’t pick the hair up or burned up, I decided to splurge and get a <slightly> more expensive one. I wasn’t quite ready to take the plunge and buy a Dyson, so I went with this Hoover. I just received it and vacuumed two rooms with the most hair – one shag and one low pile. I had to empty the bin 5 times!!!! Nearly every hair is gone….I’m sure if I went over them one more time, not a speck would remain. I love that the handle becomes the extender wand….one less accessory to keep up with. I also love that the head is a bit smaller and fits around and under furniture better. I do have two negatives. The pet brush doesn’t have a spot to hold it onboard. Also, the swivel seems to always lean to the left instead of staying straight until swivel. This may be a user issue and it may work itself out. Even with the negatives, this is by far the best I’ve ever had.
• I received this vacuum as part of a test panel to review. I love the fact that the suction on this is fantastic. And the power it has. When it’s on carpet, it’s almost self-propelled. It actually pulls me it’s so powerful. The cord is nice and long. I can plug it in, in my hallway and vacuum all my upstairs bedrooms without having to unplug and replug in each room. Love that feature. It has floor sensor so I no longer have to adjust from carpet to hardwood to tile. Not that that was a huge problem, but one less thing to do. But you can also take the floor sense off so it has more suction on hard floors such as tile floors. I noticed on my tile floor, it doesn’t always pickup everything if I leave it on floor sense. They sent a bag of confetti along with the vacuum to show its power. When my daughter scattered the confetti on my tile floor, it did not pick it all up, until I took the floor sense off. The canister is a lot larger than the other canister vacuums I have owned. And, for being a canister vacuum, it fits under my couches, beds and recliners. So it makes cleaning a lot easier. No more having to hook up the attachments to vacuum under them. The “headlights” are super bright. They are LED, so I’m hoping once they need replaced, they are not a fortune. The only con I have with this is the hose and the attachments. I wish the hose were longer, and it does not have the long wand attachments I am used to having with my other vacuums. Instead they have a small crevice tool. Which is nice because it has a rubber tip on it so I can use it along my baseboards and have no worries of scuffing my paint.
• I was very excited to try this vacuum. Since I have two rowdy boys, a farmer husband, and a hairy dog-son, I’m constantly having to vacuum my floors. The best thing about this one is the smart sense. It can tell when you go from carpet to hard flooring and adjusts the brushes accordingly. There is also a Hoover app that you can download to keep tabs on the cleaning capabilities of your vacuum. There is a wand that releases from the handle and extends for using the tools that come with it. This vacuum is very easy to maneuver and rotates from side to side with minimal effort. As you can see from the pictures I included in my review, it picks up confetti and large pieces of rubbish with ease! I replaced my normal bagless Eureka with this and I could not be happier. You cannot go wrong with this vacuum!
• I cannot say enough great things about this vacuum! I love how it basically pulls itself across the floor, even my 6 year old wants to help clean now! The suction is amazing.. leaves nothing behind! He have a long haired kitten and it picks up ever little fine hair that is shed. I will never go back to my other brand!
• I just received this vacuum in the mail and I love it! I have a 100 lb rottweiler and two cats. It is very hard to try to keep up with the animal hair that ends up EVERYWHERE. This vacuum helps so much! I really like the attachments that let me clean my couch and cat tree. I love the floor sense technology because I have a lot of hard wood floors in my home. The vacuum isn’t too loud which is nice since my one cat is horrified of vacuums. I am very happy with this vacuum and recommend it to anyone with animals.
