- I have a dyson (an expensive model though many years old) which broke down – have to take it in. Hopefully just a belt. Meanwhile, a friend of a friend with dogs, so happened to mention her vacuum cleaner on FB. So I got the info, specific model, because there are so many very similar (why does there need to be dozens of hoovers-makes no sense). Takes almost zero assembly – literally one single screw. Just ran it through the kitchen, entry, hallway, living room, and one bedroom. The filter was covered with cat fur and the vacuum still had incredible suction. The amount of light dirt and dust (I vacuumed the tops of everything which typically I ignore) and cat fur filled a good amount of the dirt canister. This machine has huge suction even when the filter is loaded up. It doesn’t seem to matter there’s no setting for hardwood – doesn’t need it. I did think it had a headlight, which it does not fyi. Like the rewind feature alot – hope it holds up over time. This is an inexpensive machine compared to my dyson-the hoover canister operates the same way with the bagless and how it detaches and empties. I’d be happy with this hoover if it lasts for a couple of years even. I don’t expect too much longevity given it’s meager price at under $100.

- I don’t mind vacuuming more often since I no longer have to wind up the cord when I’m finished. It was already a great deal at its original in store price, but we just couldn’t pass up the online deal. It was a no brainer when we compared the specs to the other brands. It was the obvious choice.
- I have a large lab that hates being brushed. This is the first vacuum I’ve ever had that actually does a decent job on pet hair. this was the top rated vacuum in consumer reports beating out all the expensive dysons. I would highly recommend it to anyone and the price is fantastic!
- This is a great vacuum for the price. It does a great job of picking up dirt, including pet hair. The retractable cord is a nice feature, as well.
- I really love this vacuum cleaner. i had a Hoover years ago but when it was time to buy a new one I was cheap and bought a Bissell. Not the greatest idea. I went back to Hoover after the Bissell died (which wasn’t long) . I have 2 dogs and it really gets up the “unseen” hair. It was almost scary at the hair and dirt that was missed by the other vacuum. I would recommend this vacuum if you have pets or not!
- When my first one started having issues I looked for the same model. Love the auction power on my pet fur and the attachments. I only use this vacuum on carpet. Love the easy to empty dispenser and reusable!
- It Will not pick up on a hard wood floor, it ran for about 20 minutes then shut off and wouldn’t restart. Very disappointing. It’s junk!
