- It is made of concrete, it is heavy, it is solid. I think most people would have their umbrella sit on one place, where the patio table is, for long time, most people do not move the umbrella here and there often. This is very heavy to hold your umbrella. With this price, you cannot go wrong.

I called the number that was given with the product if there were any problems, and was told they don’t deal with it: I asked if there were an adapter I could use with it for a larger umbrella pole. They said I would have to deal with the seller. The instructions were NOT to call the “seller” if there were problems, but to call the company number. Like going around in circles. Anyway, I’ll look for a pole that is small to utilize the stand. It is certainly heavy enough to hold up anything.
