• We had the same step-on recycling can years ago and were happy to find it again. It’s compact and fits into a small kitchen. The surfaces are easy to clean. The color coded foot pedals makes a food reminder for plastic and paper.
• This was the largest sized combination trash and recycling I could find. It takes up less space than two separate containers. I like the fact that it completely hides the trash and recyclables. I like the stainless steel. I opened the box before I left the store. Very happy to report no dents.
• Holds a good amount of trash and recycle. I don’t have to take trash out so often. One can for 2 bins, great!
• Dented in shipping. Luckly the stainless steel outer skin is extreemely this and i was able to push the dent out almost unnoticeable. Nids don’t open up very good from foot lever. Good size and the handles on each bin are a good feature. Still not sure why trash cans made of plastic with a thin steel shell cost this much.
• Makes recycling so much easier when it’s right there with the trash
• I needed to declutter my kitchen area since I was tired of looking at huge bags sitting on the floor filled with plastic, glass and papers. Item was shipped, in tact, nothing damaged. The bin looks nice, easy to use, a bit small and doesn’t hold big items, overall looks better than a bunch of plastic bags on the floor. Size wise I would say you can fit 10 2 liter soda bottles in each compartment.
• The metal bars that lift the bin out get stuck on the bags and rip them when trying to remove. Finally had to replace with paracord that works well. The bin size also means I’m taking out garbage almost daily instead of twice a week. It’s so narrow you don’t actually use all the space. Should be shorter and wider or one bin wider than the other or overall larger than 16 gal.
