- My mom bought this at the beginning of summer for me for church camp which involved a lot of walking and playing in creeks and tracking through woods and stuff of that nature. After church camp, I countinued wearing these shoes through everything, mud water rocks woods you name it I took them through it. But today, 2 days before summer is over, the heel strap ripped off the sole:( they were my favorite shoes!!! I would recommend them to anyone because they are very convinet
- As another reviewer mentioned, I’m usually also a Merrill buyer, and needed something airy for summer. Came across these Ozark Trails at WM and decided to give them a shot. For $18. 00, not too big a risk. I LOVE everything about these shoes, the fit, the memory foam insoles, which truly work(!), the elastic tie system and the tire – profile soles which provide a real stable walk. They do keep your feet cool, which was highest on my wish list. No stink and nice and trendy too. I’ll be back for my next pair when the time comes!
- I have Keen Teva and Merrell sandals. I bought these to “save” my good sandals from wearing too soon. I use these around the town to do everything. They have become my “go to” sandal now. They are comfortable and don’t seem to be wearing that quick. I love the sole, it seems pretty heavy duty. I don’ t think they would be good in the water though just looking at the materials on the uppers. So far my Teva and Keen sandals have had sole separation problems in the Florida heat. ( no problems in N. Y. though) I am going on three months with the Ozark trails and am very happy with them. Seventeen dollars as opposed to One Hundred for the Keen!!!!!
- I love these sandals. Comfy inner sole, nice tread on bottom of sandal. Attractive color and upper part of sandals has materials that are comfortable near my feet. Thank you WalMart and Ozark !
- I bought these at the start of May for my 14 year old (size 10 shoe) and today it is June 28th. One shoe has a broken ankle strap and on the other one, the entire sole from the heel forward rolled off, taking the ankle strap with it. He barely worn them in May. He attends a school with a dress code (no sandals allowed). So he really only wore them daily since June 15th the last day of school. So a pair of shoes I thought would get him through the summer, actually only lasted 13 to 15 days. Wish I could give them negative stars. And now I am trying to find him a new pair of sandals before the start of summer camp in 4 days. I have been to 7 local stores and have not found any bump-toe sandals. By the way these sandals rode a bike and walked on sidewalks. Nothing rough. No water and no woods.
