Instructions: To open pull red tape off to the left. Recommended Daily Feeding Amounts: 51-75 lbs (23.1-34.0 kg): 3-1/4 to 4-1/4 cups. 76-100 lbs (34.5-45.4 kg): 4-1/4 to 5-1/4 cups. Over 100 lbs (over 45.4 kg): 6-1/4 cups plus 1/2 (46 g) for each 10 lbs (4.5 kg) of body weight over 100 lbs (45.4 kg). Adult Dog Feeding Instructions: The recommended feeding amounts indicated are based upon the average nutritional needs of an adult dog with a normal activity level (using a standard 8 oz/250 ml measuring cup which contains approximately 92 g of Purina One). Factors, such as a dog’s metabolism, breed size, activity level, age and whether the dog is spayed or neutered, will affect the amount of Purina One needed to maintain an ideal body condition. The pet experts at Purina have provided the feeding amounts indicated as a starting point. If you find that your dog is losing weight or becomes overweight when fed these amounts, please adjust accordingly. To help your dog maintain an ideal body condition, monitor your dog’s weight on a regular basis, making sure that his ribs are easily felt and his waist is visible when viewed from above. - I have an Aradale and this brand is the only thing he has eaten since I got him from the shelter at 9 weeks. He is a healthy and vibrant dog. He looks forward to dinner time and seems to prefer this food over any other he has at other people’s house when we visit. Taste good and has, or appears to be, real chicken pieces in the food and in a day in age when all you hear is “The first ingredient is corn” it is good to be able to see the chicken pieces.
- I love this brand. My dogs seem to eat less and seem to have more energy. I have noticed they are slimming down and their coats are even shinier. While I love the food, I was very disappointed that I never received the coupon.
- We usually buy Purina Dog Chow or Chow for Adult/Senior dogs and find that the premium versions USUALLY show up in our chocolate lab looking healthy, healthy coat, peppy body, but THIS ‘real chicken #1 ingredient’ dog food has only made her skinny. She refuses to eat the “chicken” chunks, which look like puffed cardboard, feel like styrofoam, and smell REALLY bad. I thought the wildlife would eat whatever she left in her bowl, but even they won’t eat the chicken chunks. Her strained ligament in her leg IS improved / though I will not know until I return to the other food if this is the reason.
