- I put this on a Chevy Silverado 2012 exactly what I wanted low profile fits perfect plenty of room in the bed love it only bad thing is no mounting brackets you have to buy separately but other than for the price you can’t beat it I’m satisfied.
- The box is referred to as full-size. There are no actual dimensions given. It is far too narrow and too shallow to be much use. Evidently full-size refers to the size of the truck is supposed to fit. Returned it.
- I am pleased with my purchase for the money. There are heavier built boxes out there I’m sure. Great toolbox for short bed pickups.
- Low profile, doesn’t block view, doesn’t take up much of the bed, locks, hydraulic lift and shut, perfect.
- We purchased this box because (1) it was on sale for a good price and (2) the fact that it is a Slimline box. Very easy to install, although the “no drill” clamps should have been provided which is why I didn’t give it five stars. I’m satisfied with drilling in the two screws. No leaks so far. It fits well with our short bed Ford. Nice to still have some room for hauling stuff without having to remove the box.
- I received the box one day before schedule, that’s good. The box is as I expected, an inexpensive metal box, no conflict there either. Now for the bad: The locking mechanism DIDN’T WORK, Thanks to the fact that I am borderline genius and thanks also that I have lots of good tools and that I am very handy I was able to fix it, however, this lock is so cheaply made that I am installing another type of locking system. Next: one set of J hooks cost a couple of dollars in Home Depot, that’s what I had to buy to secure the box to the bed, the box DID NOT COME WITH THIS SIMPLE HOOKS. NO GOOD. I guess these kind of problems are to be expected for the price I paid for this box. Overall I am satisfied with the purchase, saved a bunch of money.
- Good quality. Light weight for someone that does not need to haul a lot of tools in it. Small than expected in width because it is a slimline tool box. My husband was pleased with it.
- Not actually using the product in a truck – but it’s a great product and price for what I need it. Packaging for shipping was less than good quality..
- VERY thin metal. Only one lock, so if it is locked and the opposite handle is lifted, the box can be opened. Inside box dimension is 60″ (actually a little less)
