Experience the outdoors in the latest tent technology! The Bushnell Shield Series offers Heat Shield technology featuring a special reflective coating on the underside of the rainfly which blocks the sun’s UV rays keeping the tent darker and noticeably cooler. Bushnell’s Weather Shield features defend you from the toughest weather. Water-repellent fabric and fully taped waterproof seams seal-off your tent from the rain while strong frame construction and heavy duty tie-downs stand tough against the wind. This Bushnell tent also has two large mesh side panels to allow for enhanced ventilation and unobstructed views of the night sky. There are two windows on the front and back, with privacy panels that zip shut when needed. Internal and external gear organizers keep items close at hand and off the floor while reflective tie-downs, zipper-pulls and piping around doors enhance nighttime visibility.

    • Easy setup lots of room kept us dry
    • read up reveiws online and took a chance on this one, it worked a treat stood up to all the weather that the desert could throw at it (100+ degrees, wind, dust storms etc) got hot but not unbearable during the day, did not shift too much in the wind and didnt let in all the dust in the dust storms……
    • Nice quality tent for the price. Barely fits a queen air mattress, it would be WAY too cramped for four, but two people and a dog, just right. Surprised by the quality and really like that the rain cover clips to the bottom of the poles so provides a lot of weather protection.
    • Half of left and right sides are a huge screen, letting in lots of air and great nighttime star viewing. That being said it also allows outsiders to see in. So might not be right for you. Putting on the top will cover this and still let plenty of summer air. Plus you still have the screened door and back window to vent even more. Not a back packing tent(weight) but a great, easy to set up car camping tent for the two of us, plus room for lots of gear.
    • The tent did real well. Although, as with most tents, you have to be careful when it is raining and you sleep against the side walls. Touching the side walls acts as a wick and draws the water into your tent.
    • I needed a tent for an upcoming car camping trip. The price was right on this tent, and was more than large enough for my wife and I. The trip is still a couple of months away, and still a lot of snow on the ground, so I set the tent up in my den for a dry run. It took a few minutes to figure it out because there were no instructions included. After setting it up once, it is obvious that there was a better assembly method, which I will use on the trip. The tent is not very tall, and for most people you will not be able to stand up straight. However, having had previous problems with these types of tents deforming in high winds, I consider the lower height to be a plus. The rain fly is easy to mount, using the four corner snap-in clips. There are four corner stakes on the main tent, and a bunch of staked guy lines to keep the rain fly taut. The large rear screened window is always open, protected by the overhanging rain fly, so there will be plenty of ventilation, but not a lot of protection from the cold weather. The clip-on entry mat was an unexpected plus, and will help avoid the mud at the tent entrance when it rains. In summary, I am pleased with this purchase. The construction is not nearly as nice as my backpacking tents, but then, this tent does not cost $300 either. I gave only 4 stars because of the lack of instructions.
    • Easy to set up. I like the fact that it has a mesh holder under the sealing and also 5 external pockets, which is very convenient. The only problem I had – on the second day we had an all-night rain and the tent started to leak in one corner. I am not returning it, I will try to use some Waterproofing Spray next time.
