Ok so many reviews I read said their item came damaged. And some did not. I was hoping to be one of the lucky ones, but I only halfway was. My box itself, terrifying looking. I was sure my items would be damaged. Thankfully though only very minor scuffs! So, yes it may come looking damaged. But hopefully you get lucky like myself and the pieces inside are still nice enough. I covered the scuffs with sharpie and it looks great. Some of the holes also weren’t perfect looking. Whoever drilled them was definitely more about quantity than quality. But in the end nothing was overly noticeable at all! It’s sturdy enough for my use as a dresser in my baby’s closet. (At least if it does fall over it won’t fall out!) But it does seem sturdy on my carpet area. Inside my closet it’s somewhat a concern; however it does come with a connector to secure into the top of the product and into the wall support behind it. It was easy to assemble. I used a screw driver because I didn’t want to search in the garage for a power drill. Really wasn’t a hassle at all. The pieces went together nicely and didn’t take longer than maybe 10-15 mins. The push pieces were a bit difficult and I had to hammer some in, but it wasn’t a big deal. Still worked. Overall, for the price paid.. I’d say I got my money worth. Don’t let the box scare you as it did I, the inside was still great! I enjoy my finished product. Now I just need my inserts to arrive! 🙂
I purchased this cabinet to sort toys for my toddler granddaughter. There are nine cubby holes, each 12″ x 12″, a good size to hold several toys, while separating them by type. Our two year old can see exactly what is available and she can reach all but the top row of cubbies. You can use fabric cubes to store your items, for a more polished look. We used colorful trays and wire baskets so our toddler can see what is in each cubby, plus she loves to carry baskets! Safety is also in the design: the cabinet is easy to assemble, sits level, and comes with a bracket to attach the cabinet to a stud in the wall. When she outgrows toys, we will use decorative containers in it, for storage
This is a great storage bin… now, my husband’s things are organized and with the different colored storage bins… is very attractive, too.
I just picked up a second one because the first one has lasted three years without falling apart (and I’ve moved twice so that’s a big deal) but I’ve run out of space. It looks darker than expresso to me, so if colour matching is a big deal for you then expect it to look more black.
I bought this a few weeks ago, it was very easy to assemble. I actually put it together by myself.
The case arrived and was chipped and the screws were to long and to big for the cheap material. I had to go to Home Depot to get something to hold the pieces together. I need to buy some black paint. The dowels were to weak. It took me 6 hours to fix it enough to hold it together. The look is good but extremely cheap product, Judy K.
