- I would definitely recommend it . I am buying my second one . I have had this blender for about 2 1/2 years maybe 3. While it was still fairly new I abused it horribly by making coconut milk in it ALOT without letting it cool down properly in between batches. It STILL continued to work for another 2 – 2 1/2 years , just much louder haha. I promise to be kinder to the next one .

- I have had this blender for about three or four years. I use it almost every day. I just read all 189 reviews in this site to date. With regard to the rusting people complain about: yes, it rusts. But mine only rusts on the underside where the metal drive gear is, not inside where the food is. The trick is to wash it right away, same as any other blender. I don’t bother to dry the parts, I just put leave the blade assembly to air dry with the gear facing down. I did have the problem with the blade bearing getting tight but I solved that problem by just working it loose turning it by hand then not washing it in the dishwasher any more. I make a smoothie with this thing every day one banana in the drink cup, fill to the max line with crushed ice then fill to the max price with milk. It says not to blend ice in the drink cup but I have done it (using crushed ice) every day for years without a problem. As some have said it can be hard to get the parts apart but if don’t put it together tighter than necessary then grip the drink cup with a paper towel when opening it, it usually isn’t too much of a problem. What brought me to the site today is that I am in the market for a replacement drink cup which seems to no longer be in stock. I didn’t break it by using it, I broke it by mishandling it. I’m still using it with a chunk missing but it leaks a bit. So if you are reading this and you want to sell me yours please drop me a note @ 641 Liberty St, 07005. As to the smell some have mentioned yes the motor smelled for like a year of use but now it doesn’t any more and it works like a charm. Being electronically controlled, it cycles like a dream to blend very well without intervention, I just hit the middle button and go out to get the newspaper while it does its thing and shuts itself off after 50 seconds, perfect result every time. And talk about power, it would probably make wood chips if I could fit a tree in it. Cheers!
- I bought this blender February 2015 when I moved to Gainesville. Because of the moving I could not take my ninja blender with me which I bought $150. I was so afraid to buy anyhow blender because I need a blender for blending my pepper, beans and all stuff. I mean good one that will blend the seeds and turn it into puree. On getting to Walmart this day I prayed that holy spirit should help me to pick the right blender. I picked this fabware blender and I was doubting if it will work perfectly because it was so cheap as compared to my ninja blender. I have been using this fabware blender for over a year now. It blends well and turn my pepper or beans to puree. This blender work better than my $150 ninja. - I bought this blender about 4 months ago. I would use it maybe twice to three times a week to blend a smoothie with frozen fruit. Per the manual I would hand wash the blade assembly, never letting it soak in the water. The last couple of weeks it has been making a horrible racket and this morning I looked at the blade assembly and there is a lot of play in it. Rust all around the area as well. Trying to find a replacement blade is impossible. As usual, this was supposedly only made for Walmart and you are out of luck getting anything that will work for it. (As a side note I just ran into the same issue with a vacuum hose. Purchased the vacuum less than a year ago and it turns out it has been discontinued. Found one hose in the country.) So now I am stuck with needing another blender. It sure won’t be a Farberware or one purchased from Walmart. This angers me to no end on this.
