- This has been great in my apartment. My room is always the coldest room in the apartment and my roommates love to blast the AC. Ever since I got this I sleep comfortably without being really bundled up. The hot air comes out nicely and bathes the skin in warmth rather than frying it like some heaters in the past have. It quickly shoots out warm air, and if it gets too warm, the cold air can come out instantly. This heats the living room and kitchen in my apartment which is really impressive considering both rooms are quite large! I love the swivel feature as it allows the air to shoot up onto my torso when I sit in a chair. Overall this product is an A++ and continues my love for the Dyson brand.
- Bought in 2012 and in 2016, late in the year, the code H2 started showing up. Anyway, a great product!!!
- My husband purchased this for use near his recliner in the living room for when it gets hot and we’d like a fan but also since it does heat too. Quite functional for both cool and warmth without the noise!!! (He wears a hearing aid and fans drive him crazy when he cannot hear the TV. This unit is perfect for him!) We also go camping (actually RVing) in our Airstream and this unit will be great for heat and cooling there also!!! Have not used it in the Airstream yet but we both are looking forward to the quietness of the heater, mostly, but a nice fan in areas the air conditioner of the trailer does not blow the cooler air into will be supplemented with this fan. YES! Dyson this is a winner!
- My only criticism is that the remote is easily lost. It can fall off the Dyson when moved. Other than that, the machine is perfect.
- Great fan – hot or cold. Safer, sleeker, & slightly quieter than regular bladed fans. Remote control is very convenient but needs to be pointed directly at fan. Only issue is that it reduces the brightness of my lights when turned on. Purchased in August 2016.
- I have a dyson dust buster and it is like having a powerful hand held vacuum. That is why I decided to buy the dyson fan heater. And as it turns out, it is a great little heater.
- Yes, we LOVE this heater!!! So much so that we named it! Little D replaced two less expensive space heaters which had developed faulty thermostats and had been only minimally satisfactory, at best. Little D works tirelessly and quietly to keep our beloved mostly glass sun room comfortably warm and actually maintains an even temperature!!! This room is hexagonal (5 sides of which are floor-to-ceiling glass), approximately 300 sq. ft. with 14 foot vaulted ceiling. As you can see, this is no small assignment for our new heater. We are definitely happy customers!!! We especially like the features of the programmable thermostat, the oscillator, and the handy storage for the remote control. And, the compact, attractive design is also a plus. Dyson never fails to provide quality and function. Thank you, Dyson!
- Heater function does not heat entire room only space in front of heater; electric bill went from $40.00 a month to over $100.00 the next month. cooling system equally poor function, did not cool enough to be comfortable when outside temps reached between 80-90 degrees. Had to use an additional fan along with the ceiling fan to feel any coolness in the room. Live in a small 1 bedroom apt. This was too much money to spend on a product that does not work.
