- I bought another brand in the store that was a piece of garbage…very flimsy. I took a chance on this one. It was a little more expensive and a little larger. It turned out to be a very sturdy piece and well worth the money. I’m considering ordering a couple more to finish off my library. Also very easy to assemble! .
- Good value for the money. The assembly instructions were totally confusing. I put it together three times before I finally got it correct. Once together however it is quite a functional book case.
- We use them as shoe shelves in our mud room and garage. Perfect! in fact, we bought a few more pegs and cut a few more shelves. We rearrange the shelving for summer/winter- I mean, we have less shelves in the winter so we can fit our boots in larger spaces! for the price, I think they are fine- same as the cheap ikea/target/etc…
- I was able to set it up by myself, didn’t take too long. I was a bit worried because it felt a bit shaky while I was setting up but once I was done, and set it upright, it seems sturdy enough. The manual also gives you the max weight for each shelf which is really helpful so you don’t overload them. I’m able to fill it with all my books and have even ordered more to add. I love reading and I’m really happy I have a bookshelf now to hold all my books
- It is not a fancy item, but it is helpful if you want to organize your books or put something else on it.
- The bookcase arrived on time and was easy to put together. I has not had much use at this point as my daughter has only had it for a few weeks.

- These were exactly what we needed. They look amazing. We bought 4 for the space and they sit side by side. I can’t believe we only paid less than $50 for each. Can’t wait to empty all the book boxes and set up the hallway library wall.
- I gave it 5 stars because of the price and the fact that it actually has the right ratio of shelves to height to provide good shelf depths for books. I’ve bought several ‘self-assembly’ bookcases recently and ALL the others had too few shelves for their height. So with e.g. a 3-shelf bookcase you either ended up with weirdly deep shelves for books *or* 2 reasonable looking shelves and then a big space at the bottom where you put something else. Whereas this is actually a 6-shelf bookcase that provides 6 book shelves. Radical! Two cautionary comments: I couldn’t find a way to ‘tighten things up’ to get rid of the small gaps between the sides and top piece. But these gaps are really tiny, only about the width of a piece of cardboard. And the color is actually black with a faint wood style effect. So I was worried it would look out of place with all my other shelves (which are plain black). But in fact it isn’t noticeable at all so it fits in very well.
