The Big Boss Oil-Less Fryer is a healthy way to enjoy all your favorite foods! It leaves food moist on the inside and browned and crispy on the outside, without the use of added fats or oils. The energy efficient tabletop cooker combines halogen heat, convection and infrared technology. Halogen directly heats the surface of the food for browning, roasting and flavor. Convection circulates the hot air, evenly distributing the heat for faster cooking. Gentle infrared heat cooks from inside out, sealing in juices. - I was introduced to this product by a friend of mine. I had the opportunity to use hers for a couple of months and it turned out to be my new best friend! So I now have my very own. It is so versatile and being able to use it instead of frying with all that excess fat and oil that our bodies do not need is amazing. I primarily use it for chicken and it is always so juicy and cooked to perfection. It’s also great for baked potatoes. Can’t wait to try it out with other foods. It’s also a terrific energy saver as I do not use the oven as much anymore. The big boss is also ideal for smaller portions. Can’t say enough wonderful things about it! Highly recommend it to anyone!
- I have brought the boss three times my grand daughter will not eat anything cooked unless it’s cooked in the boss.The chicken she loves cooked in the boss she loves it as there is no grease,and they taste GOOD.
- Could use a means of auto-turning food that is cooking. But isn’t a huge deal to keep an eye on it and turn things as needed. I have found I need to have it set at what claims to be 480° and it still takes much longer to cook things than a conventional deep fryer, but it is quicker than using the oven. It will serve it’s purpose until I can afford a higher end product.

- This fries chicken nicely. Though it’s not always necessary, don’t worry about cooking longer for a crisp skin. I find the chicken stays moist. The Teriyaki Chicken Wings recipe in the booklet that came with the fryer is also very good. Even pre-made frozen wings cook up nice. If you are looking online for recipes, search for halogen oven recipes. As far as oil-less fryers go, this is a great deal for the price.
- We bought this item to replace a deep fryer. Seems to work very well, will take a bit of getting used to using.
- I love to use my air frier, times may be different for how long it actually takes, the only down side is french fries are not so good, healthier but hollow inside
- I love this air fryer, glad I did not go for the one advertised on tv. I fried chicken wings and they came out great! Crunchy skin and juicy inside. You can do a lot more than frying too.
- I used the Big Boss Oil-Less Fryer three times and the bulb burnt out. The first time I used it for 20 minutes to cook some chicken. The second time I used it was the next day for 5 minutes to make my own kale chips. The third and last time I used it I was a month later when I was trying to make turnip fries but it only ran for a minute before the bulb burnt out.
