I have owned this model watch for about 30 years. It has the features I like, is very reliable and durable. Because the watch band and battery each last about 5 years and the price of a new one of this model from Walmart is about the same as a new battery and an inferior replacement band, I simple replace the watch about every 5 years. I highly recommend this watch!
I bought this to replace the one I had lost. It is an excellent watch – I don’t know why anyone would want any other watch. Not only does it have a calculator and a calendar, it has an alarm and can be a stop-watch.
The cost of this watch does not come close to reflecting the tremendous quality and usefulness of this watch. Once you have one you won’t want to be without it. It is truly a top value.
I think the numbers are tiny, but he thinks it’s the coolest thing and loves it; that’s what matters! and very inexpensive!
Works great, had a lot of them, usually the band breaks and it is cheaper to buy a new watch rather than a new band.
This is a dumbed down version of earlier Casio databank watches. The display shows the day name along with the time (hours, minutes, and seconds). You have to push the division function button to see the date (year, month number, and day number) — definitely an inconvenience. The watch also has a simple calculator, an alarm, an alternate settable time (i.e., for some other location), and a stopwatch. The stopwatch shows minutes, seconds, and hundredths. You have to push the division function button to see elapsed hours. There is no countdown timer, and no phone number storage capability. I miss both of these functions. But the price is right!
Exactly what I was looking for. I’ve been using these since 1985. Proper size and function. So I bought two.
I think i have owned 8 of these same casio watches and love all the functions even tho my iphone has the same things. The calculator function is much handier on a watch that weighs less than the iphone that’s pulling my pants down.
Great watch. All functions work good and waterproof. Only bummer is no backlight. This makes this cool watch almost useless in the dark. Great other than that.
I bought this one to compare to a better designed version with a metal band. (1) No light does make this handicapped compared to other digital watches. A light should be standard. (2) The worst design trait here is the mode button which is sharp and not great to use. The metal-band model has a great toggle button and is overall tougher, thicker built. Otherwise, good notes are super light weight, highly flexible soft band that feels good on skin. Very inexpensive.
