- I have used this product, loved it and will continue to use it. It does wonders for my skin. It’s not perfumy or greasy. My only concern is the fact that I noted each time I find something that I like, it works well for me and want to continue to use it, in no time at all they stop selling it. The next replacement is usually garbage. I hope that won’t be the case this time.
- I have been struggling to find a facial cleanser I can use every day/night without breaking me out. I had been using Olay Sensitive foaming face wash, or whatever it is called… but they changed the formula! When I finished up my old tube and bought a new one, it broke me out so bad that I had to quit using it! 🙁 I went on a search trying to find something that would work for me. I found one, however it was too expensive and I went through it too fast. Back to the drawing board. I found this cleanser, gave it a try, and have been in love with it ever since! It does not irritate/dry out/cause redness to my sensitive skin. It does not have a funky odor to it. It is a pretty big sized bottle, compared to the other tubes of wash/cleanser I’ve bought in the past. I think it will last me twice as long as those! I am so happy I finally found something that works for me! Fingers crossed they never mess with the formula! I will definitely repurchase when I run out! Using this along with witch hazel, aloe vera gel, organic 100% virgin coconut oil… I think I finally have my acne under control after 10 years of struggling with it!
- I have been a Noxzema used for 50 years. No more! This cleanser rinses off so easily and it deep cleans. I no longer have to use an astringent to get traces of make up off like I have with Noxzema. Will def buy again and again! Can’t beat the price either!
- I’m 31, female and have had adult acne my entire life. I did prescription as a teen, benzoyl and salicylic in my twenties… In some very expensive regimes. ProX. ProActiv +. I always still had redness, blackheads and always at least a couple pimples. They also made me peel if I used it regularly. Now I just started doing Curology (online consultant and individualized treatment) about a month ago and have noticed some difference. They are the ones that recommend this face wash because it is gentle and helps keep the natural skin barrier intact. I don’t peel anymore! I for the first time since puberty, do not have a pimple! My redness is almost gone and my pores are clear and shrinking! My skin feels healthy after washing it with this cleanser. So worth it!

The cleanser does not dry out my face after use, which is a plus. I believe it’s starting to help with some acne and redness on my face, however, I probably have not given it sufficient time yet to give the most accurate effectiveness for me.
- I have been using this cleanser for about 7 years now. I have suffered with problematic skin…( acne, dry patches, oily patches ) Very finicky and sensitive. After getting myself a dermatologist I left all other cleansers (have tried them all) behind. CeraVe is gentle but effective. It leaves my skin clean not greasy but not dried out and definitley not harsh on my skin as others. It is a fine medium. I personally feel it is better by far than Cetaphil. That is my personal opinion. I use the CeraVe face moisturizers too with salycic acid and the tub without. They have the ingredients of higher end (more expensive) facial moisturizers with the vitamins and ceramides. I feel good knowing I get great quality without the extra expense!
- I have sensitive skin and have tried many many products. Expensive products that was not helpful at all. I have been using this Cleanser twice a day and also use the PM and AM loton for over a year now. My skin looks great!!! I am very happy.
- I am very careful about what kind of cleansers and things I use on my face. I had previously read reviews on this product online and it said that the product worked very well; so I of course was very confident that the product would work….well it had the total OPPOSITE effect on my skin. The cleanser is for Normal to Oily skin my skin WAS normal and I rarely had any acne breakouts on my face. Now that I have used the cleanser for a short period of time my skin is SUPER oily and I have consistent acne. I am very upset and disappointed with this product! I feel it ruined my skin.
