- I got this large package (over 70″ long) and was a little nervous since I live alone and am only 5’3″. But it is not too heavy and I have a power screwdriver. It was a bit awkward attaching the top shelf without someone to hold the side rail in place while I screwed the bolt in, but I managed to prop it up on the styrofoam it comes with to make it happen. There is a lot of styrofoam and everything is wrapped in the styrofoam wrap. I’m not crazy about what it does for the environment, but it was undamaged so I can’t complain too much. The shelves are great- they look rustic. I was expecting the side rails to be heavier and more sturdy, but it seems like it will be strong enough for what I want it for. I’m using it in my “exercise” room next to my reformer for weights and props. I see each shelf can only hold 15 pounds, but it seems like they could hold more, in my humble opinion. I’ll put heavier weights at the bottom, of course. The cross bars in back are essential to keeping this thing from wobbling. It’s not super study since the shelves are all free floating. Still, I love it. It looks great in my room with all of my hardwood.
- One frame was bent but we were able to hammer it out thankfully. Easy to put together. Very nice for inexpensive furniture. We are pleased. Quick delivery.

- We are moving to a new home at the end of the month. We have a small alcove in our mudroom where this bookcase will fit.
- I use this in my kitchen for my cookbooks and microwave. It fits my needs well, and it also fits the particular space well. I put this together by myself, and it took about 30 minutes. I would buy again, and I recommend this shelf.
- Easy to assemble but needs more than two hands. A little unsteady but mostly good value for what you pay for it. Works well for my purposes of holding cookbooks and plants in my kitchen. Really cute!
