    • The wire/wood combination is attractive and rustic. One of the brackets holding the bottom shelf was bent, but still serviceable. The shelves are not totally smooth– they are a bit rough. I turned the shelf around so the doors were against the wall and the shelves open to the room. Great height and width.
    • Love this table. Easy to assemble, about 20 minutes. Clear and easy instructions. Light weight but solid.
    • I LOVE this console table! I was not aware that the front of this table swung open like a garden gate. It perfectly matched the iron bed I have in the room and completes the french country look in the room. It arrived in just a few days and was all assembled except for the shelves. I deducted one star because one shelves had a small gouge. I am keeping the unit and the gouge without complaint or exchange. A little TLC will fix things.

    • The table is beautiful and perfect for what we needed. However, the reason I gave it four stars and not five is for the price, the top really should be wood and not a hard pressed styrofoam like substance painted to look like wood!
    • I like the look of this unit, however more rustic than I would have thought. Another reviewer said it was a block of styrofoam painted like wood. Not quite, but think I would have preferred that. Very thin piece of wood, which is fine except that it’s very rough. Like if you run your hand over it, you might get a splinter. If you tried to dust it with a rag, it would snag. I didn’t want to return because overall, it’s what I wanted and the look is great, just the feel of the shelves is horrible. Thought an easy fix was to buy clear matte paint spray. After several coats on the top piece, it was still rough. So I used fine sand paper. It still has ridges, but at least it won’t make me bleed. The inside shelves are not as rough and I sanded those before spraying after the spray didn’t work on top. Gave it all three coats (that’s three add’l for the top). It’s passable, but probably need to go get a third can of spray! Probable should have used a different clear finish which would have been thicker, but was having issues with spending so much time on a new piece of furniture. I would have returned it if I would have found another piece I liked. Maybe mine is just defective. Hmmm…..
