• The photo on the website shows this item to be of a mahogany color. It arrived jet black. Nice shiny finish. Splinters are present on several pieces. This item was very difficult to put together because some of the pieces don’t easily line up. Poor instructions. However, once it is put together it looks great! I am not returning it because it did take 1 1/2 hours to put together and now that it is put together I don’t want to wait to receive another one to put that one together. Lots of work. I like the functionality and the final look. I put the splintered pieces in the back side that faces the wall, so it won’t injure anyone.
