• This is durable bed that should last for years to come. Assembly is fast and relatively simple. It is also adjustable for the mattress. It has a smooth neutral color finish that seems like would blend in with a lot of room color schemes. It seems like it will be safe for a child because of the design and the abuse resistance construction and has enough room between the mattress and the top of the rail. Seems a little overpriced, but everything is these days
• The “Delta Children Heartland 4-in-1 Convertible Crib Charcoal Grey” arrived quickly and it was very well packaged. There was lots of foam padding that prevented the product from receiving any damage during shipping. For starters, I absolutely love the color grey that they chose. It’s unisex, so it makes a great gift for both girls and boys. The color is neutral, but it is still quite elegant. It would look great with vibrantly colored bedding, such as orange, pink, or green. It has a nice sheen and gives off quite the classy look for the price. Like most cribs, any standard crib mattress would fit with no room for pinched fingers or limbs getting stuck. Assembly was not difficult, though we have a lot of experience putting furniture together. It took us about 20 minutes altogether to put it together. It does not come with a changing table, and while the back would turn into a headboard, it’s not the most attractive piece. This means that while it would definitely function for an older child, I don’t think I would carry that through. All in all, you can’t beat it for the price, and Delta has some other baby furniture that coordinate nicely with the crib.
• Great crib and would recommend it. The main downsides of this crib are when we first opened the box everything was in Spanish and we then had to open everything up just to find the instructions in English. It took the 2 of us about an hour from opening the box to putting the crib together as the legs and sides could also be labeled better. Even though we had a few issues with the labeling and instructions the crib itself is very sturdy and well made. We are starting from scratch as it has been 4 years since my last child and this crib is far better quality and sturdier in comparison to my last one. I only rated it a four due to the poor instructions/labeling but also it does not come with a mattress like some cribs do but as I have already said it is far better quality than my last crib so for me it’s worth having to pay extra for a mattress
• With another child on the way we needed to add a crib to our sleeping arrangements and discovered the Delta Children Heartland 4-in-1 Convertible Crib in Charcoal Grey. We did not want to break the bank, but did want to purchase a piece of furniture that would last and could become both a youth bed and later a full-size bed. We are very pleased with the Delta crib. It is a beautiful medium grey color with a matte silky-smooth finish. It reminds me of the matte grey finish available on the Mercedes AMG line. With a few hand tools and a helper, it took just a couple hours to assemble. Not hard at all. If you have ever assembled any furniture from the well known Swedish “furniture kit” company, this crib will be easy. I was even impressed with the very nice black enamel finish on the mattress support. Often, because it’s not seen, the mattress spring platform is not given much of a paint job. Overall the craftsmanship is excellent and we had not a single problem with the fit of pre-drilled components, and no flaws in the finish. So it is more than just a plain basic crib. The grey is a nice neutral color that goes well with most decor and will look great with our new white Delta Children Ava 3 Drawer Dresser with Changing Top. Just a word of caution, since we had a very difficult time getting conversion parts for another crib set (after waiting two years to order): Order the conversion parts before they are no longer available!
• I received this crib as a member of the Spark reviewer program. I was able to assemble the crib in under one hour by myself. The predrilled holes lined up perfectly which made it a breeze to assemble. The finish is a nice white that not only looks good but also durable. This crib is sturdy and looks as though it will be able to withstand the adventures of at least one baby. I wish the crib had the extras one needs to make it complete as a four in one system, as received it is nothing more than a standard crib. In past experiences, I’ve found it difficult to order the side rails etc. The ability to adjust the mattress height is nice and handy. It’s easy to move up and down. The crib isn’t too heavy, therefore easy for parent to move around the room. I will be adding some non-toxic decals just to spruce up the looks a bit.
