This Dyna-Glo Delux KFA135DGD 95K or 135K BTU Kerosene Forced-Air Heater provides immediate relief from the cold in outdoor working situations. Ideal for residential, industrial and commercial applications, this item is 98 percent fuel efficient and offers two settings so you can easily control the amount of heat that gets emitted. This Dyna-Glo forced-air heater operates on 1 K kerosene, #1 diesel and #1 fuel oil, giving you a variety of choices from which to choose. It offers heating coverage in areas up to 3,200 sq ft. Conveniently, this portable forced-air heater includes self diagnostics, a thermostat, an LED readout and a cord wrap. Made with a rugged construction, this accessory is dependable and stands up to the elements without a problem. This heater requires very little assembly so you can set it up easily and efficiently.

- I originally bought the heater to make my oversized two car garage a more comfortable place to work in when temperatures get low in the winter. I was surprised at how warm it was able to make my garage. On low (95kBTU) setting it will heat the garage from around 40 degrees to 65 degrees in 15 minutes or less. The temperature setting is nice and works properly, it will shut on/off on its own to keep the garage warm. Rather than Kerosene I’m running Diesel and it seems to have no issues running on it. There is a bit of an odor, but as long as you keep a window cracked its not too bad. Overall this is a great heater that will warm a fairly large workspace quickly and keep it at the desired temperature. It actually works so well I could have bought the next model down and probably have been fine. I would definitely recommend this heater to other buyers.
- Bought this heater and it came in promptly but is was broke. Shipped back free of charge and reordered. Again received item within a few days. Husband put it together and it worked for us. Heats our larger metal shop and the temp controls slows it down when needed. It is not too loud and we love it. I would highly recommend. Also Sams credited the returned item right away. Great service.
- The electronic ignition is awesome, my old heater had spark plug and wasn’t reliable anymore. The thermostat works great too, it kick in at about a 4 degree difference. It does smells more than I hoped for but I make sure i have plenty ventilation. I’m going to try diesel fuel instead of kerosene next tank and see if that smells less.
- I got this one to replace another one same kind. My last one is three years old this one is a hold lot better. It’s a hold lot more efficient than my last one. It tells me how long it will heat with what fuel I have in it and what time it will run out.
- I received the heater a few days after I ordered it. I put it together in less than 15 minutes. Filled with diesel fuel. It fired right up and started making my barn a little more tolerable to work in. Home Depot lists this heater for $219.
- I have a 48×32 garage not insulated. This week it was 26 degrees. This salamander heater heated the garage to a 70 degree where I could work perfectly in the garage.
- fast shipping, heater arrived in good shape. It took my husband about 20 minutes to assemble the heater he said it was no big deal.He put fuel in it turned it on it fired right up and has been working good so far. Its a bit noisy but that is expected from this style of heater.
