- This is Scandinavian made not Chinese. They go together similar but I think I prefer the Chinese quality control a little better.
- Packaging not good enough to prevent damage in shipment. Replacement part sent promptly and well packed. Back panel comes folded in half which results in a white-ish line down the middle of the back of the black shelf. A black “sharpie” made the line much less apparent. For the price, it is pretty good and it fits the space available perfectly.
- The bookcase is not super high quality, so you have to be careful during assembly not to scratch or bang the pieces. It goes together easily and looks nice when you’re done. My biggest gripe is the photo shows 5 evenly spaced shelves. However, the instructions have you anchor one shelf in the middle and one on each end to make the unit stable, which leaves you with 3 shelves to fill in the top and bottom. This will obviously create unevenly spaced shelves. Not the end of the world, but also not what the photos shows when you buy it.
- I bought 2 of them they were easy and quick to put together
- The product went together with two people. The side had a crack in the veneer, but for the price and the size we needed, it was not that big of a deal. The bookcase is still useable. I would recommend if realized its a short term book storage solution.
- The item was split in half. I pulled out one of the boards and it was broken so I put it back in the box and I’m returning it.
