- I own a business where i use flashlights often by people who don’t treat them gently. These tough little guys hang in there despite abuse and being dropped frequently. They take D sized batteries and if you want to save money, get yourself some rechargeable ones (not common, but they are out there) and never spend another penny on batteries again.
- They work fine and should last a long time with the D cells. Note that the batteries are not alkaline, they are the standard zinc cells.
