• I bought this for our winter home in FL. I was thrilled with the removable plates which is why I bought it in the first place. At home, I have a George Foreman which was OK but did not have removable plates and could not adjust the heat. I loved the ease of use and the quick cooking time. Raw frozen chicken filets were juicy and tender and hamburgers, even frozen were the best. I have been reading on here people saying it did not get hot enough and surmise that they did not use the preheat feature. The only issue I have with it is that the back of the device does not seem to be high enough for proper grease/juice drainage. I solved that problem by placing a small heatproof cutting board under the back legs and it worked great. Unfortunately, during the last hurricane, the park was evacuated and thieves broke in and stole our car and several items and this was one of them. We had zero damage from the storm. So, I am purchasing another as I find it indispensable.
• We love it, is very practical we use it everyday the only problem after 2 years did burn I don’t know why maybe because we use it a lot but it’s worth it every penny this is my third one we trying to find an different stores, and Walmart is the only one that have it someone’s are very expensive comparing to this one
• I purchased this small grill for my fiance’s food truck. He makes lobster rolls and he uses the grill to toast the rolls he serves it on. This is actually the 2nd identical grill. The first is fixable, screw went missing but still usable. Bought this as a back up. Very affordable. Unfortunately, no use for the other plates but still a great purchase.
• Love this contact grill. I shopped on line and debated online for two weeks before I made my choice. Price made my decision and I am so glad I chose Faberware it is awesome. Just wished it had the optional waffle plates. I am going to look online to see if they do.
• I liked the sleek look and the removable plates, but there were several issues with the first use. The “ready” light never came on, there’s no timer like my previous grill, and the fat draining system is a pain. I had to tilt the grill so the grease drained into the cup. It felt like a safety hazard to do this!
