- The only problem I had was that I ordered two slow cookers, and one was damaged in it’s own sealed box. I had to return it. The undamaged one works very well, no problems so far.
- Oval shape works much better than round slow cookers for whole chicken or ham. Plus the mini Is an awesome bonus that I use all the time for hot Dips etc.
- I got this slow cooker for Christmas, to replace an old one I had for years. Well I made this awesome Beef Bourguignon (Beef Stew) and the recipe called for 8-10 hours on low. I checked it at 7 hours and it was done!! OMG I love the way this slow cooker cooks and the Beef stew was so Good. I’m so glad I finally got a new slow cooker, now tomorrow I’m making Broccoli Cheese Soup!! I would recommend everyone to buy this slow cooker you won’t be sorry!!
- I received this slow cooker as a gift for Christmas. We realize it’s on the low price range, and therefore were a little skeptical. This is my very first slow cooker, and I am a Grandmother who never really wanted one. Without the bells and whistles, which I think is unimportant, this is the best thing I’ve ever received as a gift. I made a ham stew with it a few days after Christmas. I put it on the high setting, added onions, potatoes, ham, flour, salt and cooking wine. OMG, it was amazing. It took 6 hours to cook, and it was bubbling. The next thing I made with it was meat sauce. I was VERY concerned about it, since I used uncooked raw chopped meat. I put it on high setting and added, tomato sauce, cooking wine, (love that flavor), onions, oregano, basil and a drop of water. I also added as my own little secret, three packets of sugar free sweetener for taste. It cooked for 8 hours. I poured it over pasta and it as HIT! I honestly don’t know how I ever lived without this item. In a year or so I may just get one with all the bells and whistles…maybe not. I love it 🙂
- This is a great slow cooker that I received as a gift. I used it and it works great. It heats up very fast and keeps food warm.
