The first one came in with a busted top so it couldn’t be mounted, sent it back immediately and waiting on the new one now. Should be here today, I had nothing but good luck in the past with this brand of bug light.
Take it out of the box and plug it in. It was in a box within a box.
We have been very pleased with our Flowtron. We were worried about our grandchildren playing outside and it has greatly reduced the number of insects bothering us when we are in our yard. We felt the price was reasonable and the product effective. So far so good!

Have purchased the insect killer after noticing many mosquitos in the evening after a week we already notice a difference. Good choice!
It worked great until about 20 uses, then when I plugged it in, it started seriously smoking and making the sound you expect when there is an electrical problem/short. Smelled like an electrical fire. If it had been near something flammable I believe it would have started a fire.
