The QuietSet 16″ Stand Fan from Honeywell stands 16 inches height and was designed to be powerful, convenient and stylish. It features an oscillating option for whole room cooling, as well as an auto shut off timer that can be set for up to 8 hours. Its QuietSet controls allow you to choose from 5 levels of quiet cooling and the remote control gives you the ability to change the setting from across the room.

- The fan has good power, it is quiet as described in its name, and the remote is very useful. The design is modern. It was easy and quick to setup.

- I’m a light sleeper with excellent, sensitive hearing. To me, most fans sound like a propeller plane at take off power, so I get this fan because it says “QUIET” right there in the name. minuses 1. Assembly was a mite awkward; I’ve never had trouble putting together other fans. 2. Shortest fan I’ve ever bought. Barely higher than the foot of the bed. 3. The Baleful Eye of Sauron blazes at you! No dimmer setting for the control panel lights which indicate fan speed- blue bars the size of my thumb. Would make a good night light or reading light. 4. Overpriced. As they say in central Texas; “They’re mighty proud of their stuff.” pluses 1. Air movement versus noise is always a tradeoff. This is quiet at the lowest setting & moves air adequately- almost satisfactorily. Moves air well at high speed. Medium speed= medium noisemoderately satisfactory air movement. The bottom line? Get the lasko for 1/3 the price. This is quieter, but not $40 quieter.
- Bought this fan Fall of 2015 to replace a 20 year old fan that was a champ. This Honeywell fan was great looking and worked well during the Fall heat — versatile, quiet and efficient. But when I pulled it out of the closet this June it ran for an hour and then died. Cheap price if it had a significant life, but super expensive for a few months use.
