- I don’t know why so many people had a problem with this item . You just need to adjust the locking bolt a little bit until the peg drops into it and the tighten it . This is a great piece of furniture for the money . I have 25 bottles of liquor and glasses on it , and it is perfectly fine .
- Like any other furniture that needs to be assembled, you must be very careful in how you do so. The compressed wood chips away easily if the pegs are not screwed in right, and you might have to remove them to try again. My unit just happens to have some flaws, as the coating which appears to be some sort of contact paper, was not applied correctly. The paste used to adhere the paper to the compressed wood is showing. I recommend not to slide the table if it has to be moved or not to lift it from the top. It is a bit flimsy & may pull apart. Other than that, it serves it’s purpose in my case. It warrants 3 star in my opinion.
- I looked at all the other review and decided to try it. I had looked for a table to place behind my sofa for a long while. I would recommend it. I am 76 years old and if I didn’t have someone to help me I could not have done it, since I no longer have the strength in my hands and arms. This table is strong and not too heavy and I can move it easily.
- It’s such a gorgeous table, look so much more pricier than what we paid for it. I wish we had got it sooner.
- This was such a waste of money. Screws and holes didn’t line up, boards cracked. Save your money and get something better.
- On one of the legs the holes weren’t completely drilled so we had to chip away at it until we could get the hardware in properly. It took a little over an hour to put it together. Other than that it’s a really nice piece and looks great in the office.
- I bought 2 of these sofa tables and the 1st one collapsed so we had to use Gorilla glue when we rebuilt it. It took longer as we waited for the glue to set before doing the next step. Our second one had no holes drilled into the end panels / legs. We contacted the company by email as instructed to order replacement pieces. The alloted time for a response was 2 business days, we still have not heard so emailed again. Still waiting. Very disappointed as this is the first real stinker we have received from Walmart; that said, I will order furniture through them again as all previous purchases have been excellent.
