- I bought 2 of these fans for my classroom over 9 years ago. They were used constantly from late summer -late fall and then again in the spring. I took them home over the summer and liked them so much, I only brought one back to school and kept the other in my bedroom. I live in a two story house and at night the upstairs is always a little warm. I would use the fan to cool me during the night and the then shut it off in the morning. The one just died the other day and the one I used in my classroom, quit a few weeks ago. These fans are awesome. They are very quiet and extremely easy to put together. They come with remotes. When I bought first ones, they cost $50. I can’t believe how much in price they have gone up, but like them so much, I just purchased two more.
- The fan worked for only 2 weeks before dying during the heat wave we called summer this year. The unit had been shipped from the manufacturer which meant we had to contact them for resolution . First they wanted me to ship it back to them, not acceptable because the box was no longer available and I would have had to eat the cost of the shipping on top of what I paid for the fan. This was not a cheap box fan. Then they finally decided I should cut the cord off the unit and mail that to them so they would send a replacement. This was done and I am still waiting for the replacement. By the time I receive it summer will be done. Very dissatisfied with this product.
