    • I received this item for Christmas and it is so much fun to play with. Not only does it come with cool minifigures, but it also comes with a very cool and great build of Director Krennic’s shuttle with the famous opening “wings”. I have dropped it multiple times and it has not broken once. If you are a Star Wars fan or even a Lego fan I highly recommend getting this Lego set for your Star Wars or Lego collection.
    • Krennic’s Shuttle is a great set. It really shows in both the set and the movie how much power Krennic has. However, there are a few problems. Pros: – Pao, K-2SO, and the Death Troopers are all great minifigures! – Shuttle has an excellent appearance and accurate wingspan! – The set may be a little bit overpriced, but is will worth it. – MOVIE-ACCURATE Cons: – It has a small interior space. Unlike the Imperial Shuttle, there is no space for Minifigures to “walk around.” – The ramp leads nowhere. Wishes: – I wish that this set had come with different arrangements of Minifigures. It would’ve been nice if we could get Galen, but I understand they don’t want anything to be spoiled (this came out before the movie).
    • Great model, impressive wing span when deployed and fully folds out giving you access to the inside. A large technic build, but an accurate depiction of the shuttle from the movie. Comes with great minifigures but should of came with Galen Erso as the rebel figures that are included don’t make much sense.
    • Krennic’s imperial shuttle is an excellent set with a great value for money. Most of the minifigures are exclusive to the set, all but the death troopers. (which appear without pauldrons in the imperial trooper battle pack) Krennic is a good figure, with his fabric cape and metallic silver blaster. The facial expression captures the character’s face greatly, though i wish there was a second face on the back. bodhi rook’s minifigure is okay, but i think they could have made it more accurate by adding the imperial symbols on the arms like on the character’s uniform. Pao is not as well known as most character’s but is still a great figure. the imperial death troopers are as imtimidating as a LEGO minifig can get. K-2S0 is recreated nicely with a new head/torso mold. I would like to point out that on the set box he has a blaster, but it is not present on the actual minifigure. Overall the minifigures look great, but i feel some more detail should have been added. Krennic’s shuttle is great! the landing gear looks and functions well, and the ramp can be lowered easily. The engines are perfect for the ship, with a nice ion engine feel. the seats on the ship are not accurate to the shuttle’s interior at all, but they did have to make room for the technic support and krennic’s seat. the two wings on the sides are accurate, fold easily, and hide the spring-loaded shooters while making them easy to fire as well. the top wing uses an interesting building technique, but it keeps the wing from breaking without sacrificing accuracy. the armor covering has a nice tough look. To summerize, the ship takes some liberties in the interior design of the set, but the exterior looks accurate enough.
    • This was a gift for my brother’s birthday, and I assembled for him in less than two hours. The build was hard for him once he reached the top wing, because it was all beans and connectors, which was tough for him. I finished the rest for him. Once finished, it is a great ship with nice minifigures. The overall design is good, but there can be room for improvement. Definitely unique to the set: All the minifigures, the death troopers are well done. The weird angles of the ship, the shapes and angles make this ship look fantastic. Interior, the inside are nicely done, quite some space and detail, enough clips for all the guns, not enough weapon holders always disturbs me. Some improvements could be added: I am not sure if it’s intentional, but the front seats for the troopers was not properly designed. They have trouble leaning completely onto the seat, because of the plate connected to the middle structure. Another problem is the glass on top. I not sure it’s because of the design or the piece, the cap for Mr. Director could never close properly, it would always have a bit of angle to it, others may be fine, but I feel kind of weird about it. Finally, the front entrance could be fixed. I know it looks great, but the entrance angle is a bit high, when I stick a troop on it, it looks like he is falling down. Overall, this is a good set and I will definitely recommend it.
    • If you like Technic builds with a brick veneer, this is the one for you. As a brick builder, there are usually many fascinating aspects in the Star Wars minifigure-size ships, but this one has only one: the ~60 degree angle of the engines at the back. For the rest, all the problems were solved by Technic including ones that did not require it. I especially objected to the tail fin which is rows of Technic alongside rows of 1×1 bricks and plates stacked high. One such tower has 9 1×1 bricks and 13 1×1 tiles! One quarter of the contents are Technic or Technic-interfacing. Playability is also weak. The all-important ramp leads straight into a wall of bricks. It is difficult to pose the wings so they match each other’s angle because they use Technic ball joints instead of ratchet brick connectors. Given the Technic, it would be nice if the wings moved in synch. In my recommendations below I have listed a few of Lego’s recent Star Wars engineering marvels. This is not one of them.
