- Another amazing UCS from Lego I’m a massive imperial fan so this was a must buy! Wasn’t disappointed, it’s a massive detailed build and looks amazing on display, Build can be repetitive but that was going to be inevitable on this ship, it was still good fun to build and feels amazingly sturdy on the stand
- A gargantuan set when complete, but worth every square centimeter. The main “eyeball” has a nicely detailed cockpit at minifigure scale, so the included pilot can be sat inside as well as any other minifigures; playing with the set as a toy is great. The solar panels, too, look great and are significantly stronger than they appear. Their strength is unnecessary for display use, however, as the stand is functional and cleverly designed so as to allow full view of the ship. This set is a great display piece and just as good of a toy, and would be a good addition to any builder’s collection.

- A lovely looking set and definitely one to add the the collection. It feels very sturdy on the stand and is built very solid. It can get repetitive building the wings on each side but it’s gotta be done if you want this ship in your collection ni matter what! Haha I would definitely recommend.
- This set is ace, simple as. It’s a Ultimate Collectors Series TIE Fighter from Star Wars so we all know straight away it’s going to be a beast. I bought this as an early birthday present to myself. Over the course of 3 days it probably taken me about 4 hours to build. It contains 12 bags with 1,685 bricks. The build has some really quirky bits and doing the central canopy was a joy to build. My younger brother assisted during the way. With it being symmetrical it’s going to have some repetitive deja vu bits but that isn’t really a criticism and it goes without saying. All in all an amazing set which you should add to your collection, Boba Fett’s Slave 1 will be next.
- This is an absolutely beautiful build. The details that was put into this set is phenomenal. A great display for any collector.
- I really like this set. I believe it fully embodies the UCS theme being that its a great display model that is aesthetically accurate and scaled perfectly. Every part of the build is solid, and even if the wings look delicate they are strong with a 3 layer build that is sturdy and yet not too heavy for the rest of the frame. The detailing is great and there are only a few stickers so most are printed bricks. I really like the ingenuity of the wings and how they seamlessly added the grey framing around the wings and how they attached securely to the rest of the ship. The only negative thing I could see in the future is that the large smooth flat black panels on the wings MAY warp or have the tendency to pop off, but those can be easily replaced and aren’t an overall concern. I am very excited to see more UCS sets released and definitely plan on getting the remade snowspeeder
- It is better to buy directly from LEGO. Those UCS sets are very expensive and a damaged box in unacceptable.
