- I’ve had several life proof cases but one case I actually dropped in the exact spot where I was to dig a hole with a back hoe , I actually dug it up an buried it with dirt an rock .had to dig through the pile of the dirt an rock to find the phone . Wasnt a thing wrong with the phone when it got dug back up . Songrom then on I’ve been swore on life proof
- I bought this a month ago. I haven’t had the chance to drop it thank goodness so I can’t tell you how that is but the protective screen is hard to get use to. It makes it hard to hit letters when typing. I’m hoping I love it when I do drop my phone though but for right now I’m just getting use to the awkwardness of it. It cleans up easily. But to type on it, I have to be holding it most of the time and the corner keys like the number key switching and the back space button are hard to get to work.
- I left my phone on the hood of my car and at about 40 mph, it flew off. The case is a bit beat up, but this case saved my phone. Had it not been in a lifeproof case, I’m sure it would have been completely shattered. Also, my phone gets dropped frequently. The life proof case saves it each time. Will never own another case. (I have had issues with people hearing me and I’ve also had issues getting my volume on/off button to function properly, but lifeproof replaced my case when I had this issue.)
- I used it in rappelling downhill in caves and the height of 200 feet fell to the ground with the case and the phone intact .iphone 6 s plus.
- Love it I can hear out of it other ones sound muffled wish the front of case didn’t get dirty my other life proof didn’t do that but great case buy it!!
- Accidentally took a swim with my iPhone 6. Used my old iPhone 4 while I waited to replace it. Drove me crazy! It was so slow and just didn’t have what I’d grown used to. Accidentally dropped it in the toilet. Never in all my years have I gotten my phones wet and in the space of 3 months drowned 2!! So when I got my new iPhone 6s Plus, I decided I’d bette protect it the best way possible. I hate the bulkiness of the otter box so I got Life Proof. I hate that I have to have my phone in a case at all but this is definitely my favorite. It’s not bulkey or rubbery. I’m breathing a lot easier knowing I won’t drop and break my phone. I have no intentions of getting it wet….but I didn’t the first 2 times either! The only draw back is that I can’t use my volume buttons. It’s too rigid/rugged. I have to remove the case for that. But it’s worth it not to have to pay for a new phone if something happens again. For normal everyday use…I can’t complain. If I need my phone not to ring, I just shut it off rather than turn down the volume. I can live with that.
- I purchased this after two replacements of the NUUD. The charging door on the NUUD has a serious design flaw. The FRE does not have the same flaw. the Nuud uses two tiny flaps to hold it in place but the Fre uses one solid piece which is much stronger. I chose to pay for the FRE when my NUUD still under warranty had the flaps break again which would be third time the case would have been replaced. LifeProof needs to look at this flaw. But with that said I love my FRE the added bene is that my phone looks different from my daughters now. She has also had the same problem with the flaps but is waiting for them to break again before she invests in the FRE.
- I went to an indoor water park yesterday. The water park is big so I thought to carry my phone with me just in case i need to contact my mom to see where she is. Every time I get off a water ride, I always have to take the life proof nuud case off for the iPhone 6s Plus to clean out the water before it damages my phone.
