• Hi Ashley. The Fan has worked many afternoons all summer long, even in 109 degree temps here in Texas. It’s been a lifesaver for my grandkids while they get in and out of the pool or do art projects outside. It’s been great.
• It’s a very good purchase the problem was mentioned in the prior reviews I faced which is the connection is little bit cumbersome and the tubes are not well thought out and you have some difficulty in installation otherwise it’s a good product. The one thing that I wish they added to this fan as to have wheels because it’s so heavy and you cannot move it from one place to another.
• I have only owned my Luma MF24B for a couple weeks but so far am very happy with the construction and quality. I was prepared for war based on other reviews of the assembly process but was pleasantly surprised that it went reasonably smooth (with two people – which I recommend for a few of the steps). I have added two separate water cannisters which will keep the main water tank full so that I can run continuously for about 35 hours at low/med fan with medium misting (I always fill it with Walmart distilled water which is cheap at 88 cents per gallon and will help keep mineral buildup and algae etc to a minimum). My back porch is where I use this and I don’t see much more than about 2-4 degrees of cooler air temperature during any hot day (85-100F). However, the “feels like” temperature is definitely different and much more comfortable in front of the fan compared to a regular fan just blowing hot air. I would say the “feels like” temperature is about 10 degrees cooler at any hot day temperature. Overall, it was worth the money if it lasts for years with this functionality (we will see). Otherwise just stay indoors in the A/C and save your $400.
• It barely issues any misting spray and the reservoir has to be refilled constantly. What a poor substitute for the water hose powered model. If there is a way to return this we wish to do so. Fairgoers to our booth literally bypassed this larger fan to enjoy the much smaller one.
