Been playing guitar for 30 years, I bought this based on the reviews and I figured it could give me something to modify and if I screw up, just throw it out. $65, are you kidding? First impressions, neck feels nice. I like a wider neck then Fender guitars. The fret bars are a little blocked and need filed. The neck is straight but the bridge needs adjusted. Adjusting the bridge is super easy and explains it in the owners manual. The guitar is surprisingly light. I hate heavy guitars like old Les Pauls. The sound is nice with very clear low notes. It doesn’t have a whole lot of hiss which is good and the crunch of the humbucker is nice and full. The tone and volume knobs worked fine. To me, it sounds like Neil Young’s old black Les Paul. Like I said, I love Les Paul sound but hate the weight and feel. Honestly, I really like this guitar. It comes with a 5-year limited lifetime warranty from Gibson – whatever that means. For this price, are you really going to mail it to them to get fixed? It’s a nice gesture though. My only concerns are the tuners and the 1/4″ jack. It kept going out of tune but it had new strings, which are junk, on it and I didn’t let the guitar acclimate to the temperature and humidity in the house. I just received it in the mail. I got a little static from the jack but a little contact cleaner may fix that. Overall, a really nice guitar for a super cheap price. Yes, I would buy it again and recommend.

This guitar works great! The amp isn’t the best but hey, it works! In my opinion this is a great guitar for a beginner. I am a beginner and this guitar has helped me a lot. I love how it comes with a DVD explaining how to tune your guitar and notes and chords. This is a great guitar overall, but there are a little things I would recommend to make better. First off please make the strap better, the strap is ok, but its cheap made. I put it on this guitar and my guitar almost fell on my leg. Its not that big of a deal but it can make a difference to make it better. Second off please make the amp better. The amp is ok but it only has three buttons for the actual guitar! This guitar is a great beginners guitar and I love it!
