• Bought this lamp recently gives off good light. A little wobbly, but a great lamp for the price.
• excellent lamp for the price! Yes, the shades are thin plastic but they have a nice golden tint (brown lamp) that looks rather nice. The shaft was easy to screw together and it is straight. Base has some weight to it. 3 way bulb on the upper larger portion and we put a 40 watt bulb in the gooseneck light and turned it to accent a painting on the wall. Can’t complain for an $11 lamp!
• For the price you can’t go wrong. The two shades are plastic but you can’t tell. My friend was sitting in the chair where the lamp is and didn’t even notice. Now I wouldn’t put it in a formal living room or dining room but that’s just me. Going to order another one for my son.

• I Needed a lamp that put out more light as i am partially blind,this lam is great as i can use a3way bulb in the upper portion and anywhere from a 7 watt to a 60 watt bulb in the lower one for much more light
• As advertised. shipped as promised. Good inexpensive lamp. Needs old style 3-way bulb, not the new type. Walmart has the old type bulbs in stock.
• This is the most horrible purchase I’ve ever made. This item is so cheaply made. The shade was broken upon arrival and so flimsy to begin with. The smaller shade does not even fit. The stand is so flimsy it could be easily knocked over, if it doesn’t fall over and die first on its own. I guess I should have expected what I got for the price.
