• It took longer than expected to reach my local Walmart but was as advertized and keeps perfect time to the second. This Timex is a good value and would and would make a great gift. It is Accurate with all the features most people need at a great price.
• The watch works well. Getting it programmed and running was difficult. The “operating instructions” sheet included only gave instructions to go to their web site. At the site there was no set of instructions for that particular watch. Poor!!!
• Has all I need Easy to read, alarm, hourly chime, day & date. There is nothing else I have a use for on a watch.
• Simple watch that does what it’s supposed to do. I needed it for running, but find myself wearing it quite frequently. Wore it in the pool recently and works fine. Can’t beat it for the price.
• Very fast delivery, everythings works as described. Very comfortable to wear.That´s what I want.
• Needed a lil larger face watch to help these eyes of mine. I really like the face on the Marathon. I’ve had two Timex’s before this one,an expedition, and most recently an Ironman 30 lap. Both very acceptable watches. I have pricier non-digital watches, but find the Timex’s actually useful and more forgiving of rougher, wetter treatment. Anyhow , my 2 semi-gripes with the Marathon are 1, the indiglo does not stand out as well as my earlier models, kind of faded and harder to make out, and 2 , the alarm/chime is not in my hearing range, I hear clicks (barely) instead of tones, I’ve had two people listen to this watch and they both said the alarm and chime are there and quite loud. So just my geezer ears not getting that sound range. I do like the watch tho, and will continue to wear it. But then , I’m a Timex kind of guy…And thank you Walmart for a fast and favorable transaction.
• My Casio’s band broke the other day, so I needed a new watch. I looked over all the watches and came across this one. It has everything I need in a watch and everything I don’t need. But one thing is for sure, well maybe two things is, IT’S CHEAP and looks COOL ! Some people say the band is cheaply made, SO WHAT.. If it last me just a year before the band breaks, SO WHAT.. For some reason, people buy something “CHEAP” and expect more out of it than it is. They compare it to a higher price item when in fact, it isn’t. $15 bucks for a watch that looks cool and will last for a year, is a bargain for me, cause I’m not to worried about $15 bucks.. For this ol coot, I really like this watch, PERIOD…
• doesn’t have a count down timer, and doesn’t have military time (24hr clock).
