I bought this product this week and have used it for three days in a row which is notable because every other spf-containing moisturizer or foundation I’ve ever tried makes me break out after the first use. I don’t usually wear foundation because I don’t like the way it feels on my skin. I think of this product more as a tinted sunscreen. It has a nice slip and blendability and feels pretty matte and weightless. I know there’s something on my face, but it is very light. Who knows, the retinol may even improve my skin. Most importantly, I feel I’ve found a sunscreen I can wear beautifully, every day. I accidentally bought ivory to fair, the lightest shade, but it turned out to be perfect for me. I love the dispenser packaging!
After having a squamous cell cancer removed from the bridge of my nose, my dermatologist recommended I daily, summer, winter, rain or shine use a sun protectant with titanium as an ingredient. That’s when I discovered this product. Since then, I have had no further problem. My friends comment that they didn’t even know I wear makeup.
I don’t use foundation, I prefer just a hint of color or tint, so this works well. The added sunscreen is always a plus. But the reason I bought it, was for the anti-aging benefit of retinol. Multitasking products are always on my radar. It goes on smoothly. You can wear it alone or with a light dusting of powder. I found it hard to choose a shade, though. Example: the light-neutral seemed more like a medium skin tone. If you are unsure, I recommend going down a shade rather than up.
This product has just enough coverage without looking “made up”, and I feel like my skin is protected from the elements. It’s my “can’t do without” item for the day.
This skin care/makeup product looked so promising but unfortunately it does not come in a decent colour range! My sister (who has a much lighter skin tone) used this and was delighted by the product.
