- I have tried a lot of blenders over the years. The Oster name has always been good, and this blender was more of the same. The look of the blender is great. It’s looks good in my kitchen. I had no problems getting it to crush ice, which has been a task other blenders have had trouble with. I also could get smooth milkshakes without ice cream remaining in clumps, so top marks there also. The other thing I loved about this blender was how easy it was to clean. I couldn’t be happier with it. I received the blender for the purposes of reviewing it, but to be honest I wasn’t expecting it to be so versatile and good. I am really impressed with it.

- Overall, I am very pleased with the Oster blender. The base is solid and there is an airtight seal around the jar so there is no risk of leaking. The blender doesn’t have a ton of confusing settings yet it provides enough speed variety to fit all of my needs. I love that the controls are simple and clear. There are five buttons and each button is clearly labeled by a speed as well as a descriptive of what that speed is ideal for (i.e. Milkshake, Smoothie, etc). I used the ice crushing function and I was very happy with the results. The ice was crushed into tiny pellets that have a really great texture and are perfect for slushes. One issue I’ve had with many other blenders in the past but I’m happy to say isn’t a problem with this blender is cord length. For whatever reason, a lot of blenders have extremely short cords which can be a major inconvenience when you have large kitchen counters like I do. If the cord is too short then I am leaning over the counter to add ingredients. On the highest setting, the blender produces an excellent foam, very similar to an immersion blender. I can’t wait to experiment with this using various dairy products. One thing I do wish it had was dual blades. I made a smoothie and put the ingredients in the jar in the wrong order so it created an air pocket and I had to adjust the ingredients to get it to blend properly. This was completely human error on my part but a duel blade would have prevented the air pocket in the first place. Overall, this is a great product and I highly recommend it. *I did receive a blender to test out and review
- Extremely happy with my Oster blender!! I got it just in time for the summer and have been using it daily for different kinds of smoothies and shakes. This is a nice and powerful machine that just takes seconds and everything came out a lot better than anticipated. I really didn’t know what to expect but the blender definitely is here to stay. - Got the blender to review. The glass is heavy and it does blend, however, when it blends on high is is extremely loud! I couldn’t stand the sound. The lower blend speeds are decent sounding but it doesn’t get the job done. I would not recommend to anyone unless they want a cheap blender
- i recieved this blender as a trial. ovrrall the blender is cheap feeling and looking. after I got the blender I took it out of the box and washed it before using it. then I put it together and put ice in the picture. as soon as I turned it on i heard metal grinding and then it quit working. I wasn’t able to even try the blender before it broke.
