This bag is great for anything you want to put it through! I keep mine at about 25 pounds and I’ve dragged it against rocks, hiked with it, cannoned with it, even thrown it off a few roofs! Best backpack I have ever owned or seen. The inside of the strap did wair abit thin the zipper in the front is a bit weird and the chest straps did pop off (i do put this guy through alot though so that’s understandable)..the pockets are really convenient and can hold anything! Seriously if you want an all purpose adventure bag this is it!

I bought this pack for traveling, rather than backpacking, and my initial impressions of this pack are very good. There are well-placed smaller zipper pockets at the top (near the grab loop) and on the sides, one of which is lined with a microfiber cloth that would be good for sunglasses, small cameras, phones, or other items that could scratch easily. The back has a loose panel pocket that makes stowing a jacket or other items handy, although they wouldn’t be very secure, something to keep in mind if you are traveling in a crowded area or in a place where theft is an issue. There are mesh pockets on either side of the pack for water bottles or other small items. The shoulder straps appear to be reasonably well-constructed, with an adjustable sternum strap that has an elastic portion to give it some flexibility. Time will tell how well the straps will hold up under some moderate abuse, but I’m optimistic. The waist belt has padded panels near the sides, and seems about right for this size and type of pack–robust enough to take the weight off your shoulders if you want, but small enough it won’t get in the way when you don’t want to use it. I was pleasantly surprised to find load lifter straps at the top of the shoulder straps, which weren’t apparent from the pictures online. I also like the straps at the bottom, which would allow you to secure a small bundle (such as a sleeping pad) underneath the pack if you needed more room for gear. That flexibility is a nice feature. The pack zips open almost completely, making loading or finding items very easy. The 40L size is pretty decent for a weekend trip, or even longer trips if you are an efficient packer and don’t need a tent or sleeping bag. Most of the inside space is one big compartment, so packing cubes would be very useful here. There is a smaller mesh pocket built into the zippered flap, and another smaller pocket on the interior side for stowing smaller things. I would seriously recommend this as a budget travel backpack. It is thoughtfully designed and would be easy to carry on trains, planes, and buses, with plenty of space but still small enough to fit as carry-on luggage. The black color is fairly subdued and doesn’t stand out too much. And the full-open zip panel makes finding things easy, which is really nice if you’re living out of your suitcase for a week. I think it would also do a decent job as a small weekend backpacking pack, but the best would probably be for travel or other situations where you need to carry a bunch of stuff but still access it easily.
The pack is nice, but feels a little cheap. Well worth the $19. The greatest feature is the very large opening, with 1 zipper, you can access the whole interior. Looks like it would allow for easy stowing and retrieval of just about anything.
It makes a great day pack. My back was hurting with my old pack and this backpack works great and my back doesnt hurt. I wish it had a few more mesh compartments inside to organize more but its overall its a great pack.
A few more functional pockets than most other backpacks. The only thing that I could say, though, is that I wish that I there had been more variety in color variations. I tend to lean towards more solid colors than a varied color scheme in items such as this. Only time will tell how durable this pack is.
