The Ozark Trail Instant Sun Shade is great for the beach, picnic or sporting event! The sun shade sets up or tears down in under 30 seconds with pre-attached poles. Roof vents help with ventilation to keep you cool and the shade provides UV 50+ protection. The floor space provides 64 square feet of shade and the 59-inch ceiling height provides ample interior space. An additional privacy panel is included for even more shade and protection and can be attached to either side of the shelter. Easy-to-fill sand bag pockets are attached at the corners of the sun shade to keep the shelter stable in windy environments. • This sun shade is exactly what I was looking for. It is very light. It is very easy and fast to pop up and down. It took about 3 minutes to pop up and about 3 minutes to take down. It was on clearance and the price was great. Almost wanted to buy a second one just to have plenty of shade. Headed to the beach and I guess we will see if it will hold up to the ocean breeze. So far I love it.
• set up 4min take down 5 min(packed back in bag). first set up 1 person no wind stakes not used. I like the removable side and vents at top of canopy. allows control of ventilation. grey is good color, doesent get hot and cuts glare from sun. 4 fullsize lawnchairs or 3 chaise. 0r 3 kids and 3 adults for lunch. weighs 9.4 lb in bag. Bag is large enough for 2 sand anchors for windy days. sorry no pictures. purchased 7/2/2017 on sale 42.11. SteveB
• My husband will not sit on the beach without shade, so I purchased a tent with 2 prerequisites. Easy put up, break down and large enough for our family (we have 9 grands) Tent held comfortably, 2 chairs with 2 adults in them, an infant in car seat, 1 toddler, 2 youth, 1 teen and 2 more adults laying partially in it! There should be no reason it takes you over 5-10 min to set this up. As others have noted, because of its size, 2 people should be used to put up take down! Great find!
• We recently went to the beach with our 10-month-old granddaughter and this sun shade was perfect for keeping her out of the sun. She was able to play in the sand and a bucket of water by sitting on the edge of the shelter. The rest of us enjoyed being able to get out of the full sun throughout our visit.
• Took this on a camping trip. Windy, held up good. Added a couple more tie down because of the conditions. Couple of rips in the floor after 4 days of use. Fast up and down and light weight
• This was poorly ut together, one of the poles was installed wrong so it wouldn’t lock. When I did somehow get it to, the canopy did not stand fully. It’s not great, but I guess you get what you pay for. I returned it and will most likely be buying a screen house instead, if not a better quality canopy.
