• Went camping by myself and I was able to set up this tent by myself. It was ridiculously easy. Taking it down was easy too.
• I purchased this tent with the hope that it would be easy enough to set-up alone if I needed to. On a recent camping trip with friends I was the first person to arrive at our shared site. I was able to set this tent up all by myself in 5 minutes, it was the first time I had set it up. It took even less to take it down. It was perfect for me with a twin air mattress. It would be snug with a queen and I couldn’t stand-up completely but I’m okay with that. It’s just me any way.
• i had my first Ozark Trail tent for about 15 years. it has weathered extreme rain and extreme heat and wind. i live in the Caribbean and when we go camping its really roughing it. because of the durability and comfort of my experience, i have chosen Ozark Train again. the only difference is my last tent was a 9′ x 16′ size so there was a lot of headroom. i had chosen that because it was the best choice for a family tent. this one is a four person so the headroom fit is ideal. but i would choose Ozark Trail any time
• No more monkeying around with poles and setup. Just unfold and poof you’ve got a tent.
• 1. 10lbs will get heavy, if you have to hike more than 0.5miles. 2. it is too long for convenience. your hands should be free to carry it 3. I was not impressed with the window size provided here. i opened it up in my backyard and it became hot in seconds because of lack of ventilation. 4. only 1 door, and 2 less than half windows. 5. decent for cold weather camping only.
• Our first camping trip and this tent was set up in just minutes. Great price too!
• Unfortunately I threw this tent away after the 1st use for a 1 week camping trip. Zipper did not run smoothly & was stuck to material EVERYTIME I opened & closed the door. The material of he tent along the zipper ended up ripping. Mesh air vents (not mentioned in description) in the dome & floor of the tent allowed dust, dirt, & bugs to get in easily. This tent has no separate rain fly. The rope used for the guidelines are very bad quality. 3 of the 4 guidelines ripped/broke on the second day just from making adjustments. (As if you took scissors and cut a string in half). Although it is easy to erect, getting it back in the carry bad is nearly impossible. This is a very bad quality tent! It may be fine for kids to play camp in the back yard but absolutely NOT for any type of shelter/camping at a campsite or outdoors.
