- This pack is perfect for our day-hikes. Plenty of pocket space for extra storage of things that I like to carry (with kids in tow) like rain jackets, sunscreen, bug spray, simple first aid supplies, and the medications that a couple of us can’t leave home without. All of this, even with the hydration bladder filled! It’s a great pack, and I would buy it again if I had to.

- We took 2 of these with us on a National park tour. One got a ton of use, the other not so much. So the review is on the one I used which got a ton of use. The pros: Lots of room to stash stuff. I ended up using it to stash a large camera, a water purification kit (which did not get used at all) and a few power bars. It did fine with that, staying solid and comfy the whole time. The bladder is plenty large enough to hold enough water to survive a 4 1/2 desert walk. It even keeps the water somewhat cool for longer than I really expected it to, even though that’s not it’s job. The con: Water tastes of a nasty plastic when you first drink from the tube. It’s as if the tube adds a taste. Once it gets to the reservoir, it’s OK. I ended up adding tea flavor to my water on the last hike, and that really helped.
- Works great for what I wanted it for, mountain biking. Small enough to not be bulky but fits all the necessities for my trail ride!
- I suppose some people don’t read descriptions well or at all. Hydration packs are built to be small. This is a great pack! It’s probably made for the budget minded, and that’s just fine. It’s also MUCH larger than I expected a hydration pack to be, but please note: it’s very light, and compressible. There’s actually ROOM for stuff in this thing. Sternum band is there also. I am not sure how this will hold up, but it looks to be well made. Lifetime warranty, so why worry? I am getting another one for my daughter. Not sure why the purple one was more expensive, but but she wants a red one, so…
- I ordered this online. When I picked it up from the store I was very disappointed by the size. It looked like a backpack for a child.
