- I have been using Sonicare electric toothbrushes for years and was excited to purchase this new model once my former one stopped working (they only last 1-2 yrs). I loved the toothbrush and the case and it worked very well from the beginning. However, I think that two design issues were not well thought out: if you put the plastic cover on the brush head, it won’t fit into the case, so when I travel (which is a lot), I have to keep the plastic piece separate (a pain, tends to get lost or dirty). Two charging options are great, but one of them is a glass, hard to use when traveling. The handle died recently and Philips US replaced it at no charge. My only complaint has been they don’t last long and I end up replacing them every 2 years. But they work fabulously, so worth it!

- I have used an electric toothbrush for many years but a different type. I decided that I wanted to try the Sonicare DiamondClean and love it. My teeth feel like I’ve just returned from the dentist for my annual cleaning. Great toothbrush.
- Newest SoniCare unit wow! This unit is my fourth over the last 15 years. My dentist recommended that I go back to using a SoniCare after my last battery unit quit, 6 years of use. My new unit has returned my bright white teeth in less than the two weeks and overall oral hygiene has improved with much less effort and abrasive to the enamel of my teeth. SoniCare charge lasts much longer and the new charging options are great even though I didn’t need them on a recent trip. Well worth the cost in saved dental bills, better dental health, more effective cleaning. Love the quad-pacer timer and multiple cleaning programs.
- Toothbrush is outstanding in cleaning. I love it. The one issue I have is why can’t I choose the mode of cleaning before turning on the toothbrush. If I wanted menu selection -GUM for instance, I have to put the toothbrush in my mouth and mentally count how many times I have to press the on/off button to get to my preferred selection. Once the toothbrush is on, I certainly can’t look at the display output on the toothbrush handle for the selection I want because the brush is vibrating and there goes my toothpaste all over the place.There should a way to highlight my choice brush mode then turn it on.

- Perfect working toothbrush and then the screw that holds the head to the vibration element came loose. Hope the warranty covers.
- I have always had Philips Sonicare toothbrushes since they were introduced way back. The Elite was fantastic and worked well for many years. The replacement HX???? was great and I still have 2 of these. The Sonicare Diamond Clean started well and was great at cleaning but soon the switch was jamming due to toothpaste getting in or under it and now after only 9 months, the operation of the brush itself is intermittent and very noisy with little cleaning efficiency. I have started to use my old HX series toothbrush again. Will be contacting Customer services about this to get my money back. Huge disappointment!
