Well hello Mag wheels, Yow! What a look with a little flash and just the right amount of sizzle. The Mongoose Rebel is a sweet BMX bike with a look that is the hook. The Rebel features machined mag wheels, just like an old school BMX bike, and then has all the great features that you have grown to expect from a modern day Mongoose bike, like four freestyle pegs, an alloy four-bolt front-load stem that clamps the handlebars nice and tight, alloy caliper brakes and a brake cable detangler for 360 degree bar spins and cool tricks. The riding the Rebel will let your inner Mongoose out to show the haters what is what in the neighborhood. There is nothing you can’t do on a Mongoose. This bike will generally fit kids seven to 13 years old that are at least 48 inches tall.

- I purchased two of these bikes at Christmas, I have twin grandsons and so I have to buy two of everything. This is their third bike because all the others seem to break and fall apart, but this Mongoose is holding up to everything they give it on a daily bases and it is a beautiful bike. They love they’re Mongoose bike. These bikes are certainly worth the price.
- This is a great bike at a great price. My son loves his new bike, he loved the wheels on it immediately when seeing it. It is a great price for a BMX bike, it is all black with orange lettering and the fact that it is a Mongoose is even better. It has the front and rear standing bars on the front and back wheels for tricks and my son loved that part. It arrived very quickly and we couldn’t be happier. My son rode it around the drive even though there was a bit of snow, and can’t wait for spring to really get to use it.

- The bike came assembled and ready to ride. My grandson was very excited and rode it immediately. Everything works fine and it seems like a very sturdy bike. It’s heavier than it looks and expect it will hold up well
- One of the allen bolts that attaches to the frame and handle bars had some type of metal thing wedged inside the bolt where the allen wrench should fit. It took hours trying to get it out. My husband had to use a drill with the smallest drill bit he had and drill the metal piece out. He broke 2 drill bits trying to remove it. Thank goodness he’s a contractor and had access to different tools because it was Christmas eve so buying the tools necessary would have been impossible. We would have had to return the bike or go to a bike shop to replace the bolt. This bike should have never left the manufacturer’s warehouse with that issue. I actually think it was returned for that problem and walmart resold it. I dont usually purchase from walmart because I always have some type of issue. This time wasn’t any different. The bike itself was nice n my son enjoyed…after we solved the problem ourselves.
