- The lid is hard to get on just right, maybe because the handle doesn’t move. It won’t whistle if the lid isn’t on tight. After I’ve used it awhile the lid may go on easier.

- Awesome inexpensive Tea Kettle. Heats water quickly & the whistle noise is very loud. I can’t tell how the handle is attached. I cannot see any rivets or welding to the upper area of the handle on the inside & outside of the kettle. I can put my hand through the opening with a sponge to wash it out. I do this every few days so there is no mineral deposit build up (from the water) in the interior. Easy to maintain the tea kettle’s exterior stainless steel shine by giving it a quick wipe down using a dish towel.
- WHISTLES LOUD, MAKES HISSING SOUND WHILE IT HEATS UP, EASILY DISCOLORED IF LEFT ON STOVE TOP WHILE COOKING ON ADJACENT BURNERS, OWNED FOR 13 MONTHS BUT THE HANDLE AND ATTACHMENT BLOCK ABOVE THE SPOUT EVENTUALLY MELTED OFF. GREAT PRICE, BUT IT DOESN’T LAST VERY LONG. OK TO PURCHASE AS A LAST MINUTE CHEAP TEMPORARY PURCHASE BUT OTHERWISE I WOULD RECOMMEND GETTING ONE WITH METAL HANDLES OR METAL CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THE POT AND THE HANDLE IF YOU WANT LONGEVITY.
