- I had a large fryer but with all the kids now out of the house it is just my husband and I. I was wasting space in my small kitchen and a lot of cooking oil filling my old one. So I decided to try something smaller. I wish I had done this sooner. I wish I had of had a large one of these when the kids were home to. The oil heats very quickly so I am not standing around waiting. It cooks rather quickly too. I have cooked fries, shrimp, onion rings, chicken and more in it so far. Everything comes out nicely browned. It is small the basket is about 4 inches by 4 inches by 4 inches, but for the 2 of us it works great. I also don’t need as much room on my counter. It is very easy to clean too. The basket, the burner, and the pot all lift out of the stainless steel housing. I was mine with good old hot soapy water, but the basket, pot, and housing could be put in the dishwasher. The electrics are all hooked to the burner.
- I bought this and read reviews, but when I got the fryer it was too small for my family of 4. I would say it is perfect for two people as it is too small for three or four people. I like to fry my chicken wings in few batches instead of doing in several batches because I don’t have time to stand there and keep frying all day so I like something bigger. It is a good quality and cute. It doesn’t use that much oil so that’s a plus if you are trying to save on oil. I prefer to reuse my oil so once I am done with something I like to clean up my oil and reuse it unless the oil gets dark then you have to change it. But anyways great for two people not more, too small for me. The basket is so cute. If you want to put it in a corner in your kitchen it doesn’t take that much space so that’s a plus too.

- Never used one before so I was pleasantly surprised when I came across the ad that I could get a portable one that could be used in my kitchen. I am not a fry food person, but a little sometimes will not harm, The cleaning instructions say to wipe the grid with a warm soapy cloth, but all I do is to use a paper towel and clean it and that works fine, because I find it hard to get the soap off and get the urge to dip it in water to rinse it off. So a dry paper towel works fine for me I clean it the same way I clean my Teflon non-stick items
- Compact unit that heats evenly. Has a lid. Wish the lid was actually attached but still works fine.
- Looking forward to frying fish in it. I don’t recommend this for a large family as it has a small basket. For 2-3 people it should be ok.
- this was a nice deep fryer the first time I used it. Got it ready the second day and it would not turn on! Pressed the reset button and nothing!! Piece of junk….don’t waste your money. I will never buy this brand again. The one year guarantee is worthless.
