- Haven’t taken it camping yet but it does appear the metal and quality of construction do live up to the name-brand Coleman that I expected.
- Perfect for the beach! After spending hundreds over the years on plastic shovels, I wised up. My daughters sand castles are now Zillow worthy. It use to take me a solid 15 minutes to bury my son. I’m now down to 5 minutes. This shovel is designed to give parents more Corona or book reading time at the beach. Cheers!
- Would you want to scuff your shiny “special forces” shovel by tending the fire with it? No. This one is cheap enough to not care. As long as you aren’t trying to hack through trees, and pulverize rocks, this shovel is great for tending fires, and digging holes in relatively soft ground.
- Light weight and convenient. A little tricky to tighten down and will need practice before you really have to use it.
- Found this item on the net, bought some to send to Ukraine as help for people protecting themselves and their families from the terrorists-separatist in the Eastern regions, they find it useful.
- I got this to clean out the fire pits and grill pits at the lake. It is perfect for this and does not require alot of storage space.
- Tightening nut fragile (poor design ) got as a gift , wish my son would have gotten me a beach TOY shovel instead , at least it would have come with a plastic bucket. If I could have, I’d have given it a zero star 🙁
