- Set this tent up for the first time in under 15minutes in the dark. More than big enough for 2 adults, 4 kids and a dog. We havent used the light yet so can comment on that…take down was also really simple, like 10 minutes with 1 person.
- Tent was great and not too hard to set up. Bought a twin cot and air mattress and it would not fit on end of tent. Sides slant in quite a bit so cot has to go on the back side lengthwise. The light was GREAT when going in and out at night and the roll down windows worked great. Did not experience bad weather. It was around 48 degrees and used electric heater and was quite comfortable. Not very high on ends so you have to bend over to walk in that area. The best asset was the frame on the door. Made going in and out very easy. Wish I could find a larger one with all the features of this one.
- We purchased this tent after our 11 year old coleman tent broke. After lots of research and deliberation we decided on this model. We had originally settled on the montana 8, but then “upgraded” to the elite. It is was worth the extra money. It’s a little smaller on the inside than we wanted but it had all the qualities we liked about coleman and still room for our elevated queen air mattress, a toddler cot, and dog bed plus lots of room for our belongings. The hinged door, and built in light are a must with kids, (our old tent broke because our 3 year old put her foot through the door and broke the zipper). The only downside that I have seen so far is that there is no window on the back of the tent, it’s not mesh either, so the back is completely solid. That doesn’t seem to hinder airflow as long as you leave the window on the door open slightly which you can do because of the overhang that the rainfly provides.
- This is by far one of the better Coleman tent I had ever owned . I had purchased in June the 6 person one just like this I love having the back door. Held up and heavy rain no leaks in either one . And the lighting is great .
- For the price, this tent exceeded all expectations. We set up two queen size air mattresses, and still had a 64 square foot area to store our stuff and move around. The harp door is a brilliant idea that creates ease of access. The LED light was multi-functional and well thought out. All this comfort, and it only took the two of us 15 minutes to set it up for the first time, in the dark! Yay Coleman!

- My family loved this tent. Wanted my family to have good first-time camping experience so i decided to purchase this tent. Easy to set up and fold away, tall(I’m 5’7), spacious, easy to set-up and fold away. Built-in light is a great feature, folds together with a tent, bright enough to read a book and dimm enough to fall asleep for kids. Fit 2xTwin and 1x Queen mattresses and still lots of room for luggage Supported front door with zip and velcro closure so you don’t have to zip every time. Loved Loved Loved our trip. It did not rain, but reading previous reviews this tent can handle rain.
- I bought this tent as an upgrade to my 6 person Coleman tent that is over 10 years old and is still in perfect condition. I needed more space for kids and a dog. Here are my pros and cons: Pros- easy to set up, size fits two queen air beds with space left over for a dog on a sleeping bag and room for luggage . Lighting system is really cool is a nice option. Tall center height with good ventilation. Cons: LEAKS!!!! We had steady rain for about 8 hrs. Rain soaked through the rain fly and drips settled on the floor. Water came through floor seam and ponded under air beds. Seams were leaky even after seam sealer was applied. Water came through floor even after rain stopped. Water got trapped between tarp and tent floor, finding its way in. Hope this a one off for Coleman, really enjoy their products. I paid 183.00 for the tent, way too pricey for such a lousy product
